I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Tyson

I'm Available

If you’re looking for a medium-sized guy with a massive heart, Tyson is your man. This 55lb Lab mix is a true "people dog" who lives for human connection. Whether he’s showing off his favorite toy or leaning in for a scratch, his goal is always to be by your side.

Tyson is an active lad who loves to keep his athletic physique in tip-top shape! His perfect day involves doing "zoomies" in a fenced-in backyard and playing with his impressive toy collection. While he isn't a "dog park pal," he can successfully live with a female dog who doesn't mind him being the "King of Toys." (Sorry, no male dogs for this guy!)

Tyson does struggle with a little separation anxiety—he might bark or cry when it’s time for the crate—but he is not destructive. He just wears his heart on his sleeve and needs a patient owner to show him that you’ll always come back.

On walks, he’s so excited to see the world that he needs a few reminders for the first 10 minutes, but once he settles into a rhythm, he’s a total pro.

Tyson is a star student who already knows sit, down, stay, and shake a paw. He’s even smart enough to know exactly what “go get your toy” means! His perfect day involves a vigorous game of fetch in the yard, a nice long walk, and plenty of toys to keep his clever mind busy.

Bonus: He’s even been cat-tested and didn't mind them one bit!

Tyson‘s adoption fee is $850 which includes neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test, heartworm/flea/tick prevention, deworming and complete that check. If you are interested in adopting Tyson, please fill out our online adoption application on our website www.helpingpawsrescue.ca.
