I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Vienna

We're happy to tell you that Vienna has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Vienna is a 5‑year‑old Poodle × Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a very sweet temperament . She’s outgoing, confident, and surprisingly sturdy for her size. This girl has no behavioral issues and is truly a joy to have around.

Vienna loves an active lifestyle. Whether she’s playing in the snow, walking politely on leash, or hitting the trails for a hike, she’s always ready for the next outing. She handles busy environments with ease too—stores and shopping trips are no problem at all.

She’s great with other dogs and, while she hasn’t been tested with cats, her gentle nature suggests she could be a good fit with proper introductions. Vienna is incredibly lovable, adores cuddles, and is just now coming into her own personality. She can be a bit of a “screamer” when excited or unsure, but she’s already settling beautifully and improving every day.

Her energy level is medium to high. She spends about an hour out with the other dogs and enjoys having the freedom to come and go when the door is open. She’s also learned to love her pet bed and relax independently.

Vienna is fully trained and knows her cues: Din Din, Up, and No. She walks best on a 4‑foot leash, preferring the right side, and responds wonderfully to soft, gentle communication. She thrives on praise and encouragement—“Let’s go this way!” is one of her favorite prompts.

Like many Cavaliers, Vienna is prone to separation anxiety, so she’ll need daily structure and consistency. She must be crated for 3–4 hours a day after exercise to help her continue building confidence in being alone. She’s already made great progress and is very close to mastering this skill.

Vienna is incredibly smart, deeply affectionate, and wonderfully easy to love. She’s no trouble at all—she just needs a family willing to guide her the rest of the way. With patience, routine, and lots of love, she will blossom into the most loyal and delightful companion.

Vienna's adoption fee is $850 which includes spay, microchip, vaccines, heartworm, test, heartworm, flea tick prevention deworming and complete vet check. If you are interested in adopting Vienna, please go to our website and fill out an adoption application www.helpingpawsrescue.ca
