I'm ready for my new family!

Meet Lt. Dan, known as Danny — a funny, bright‑eyed pup with a whole lot of pep and an even bigger heart. This guy brings joy everywhere he goes, whether he’s zooming around the yard, checking out new corners of the house, or curling up close to his humans.

Danny is very friendly and loves being near people. He’s the type of pup who doesn’t want to be too far away when a human is around — he’s a lovable shadow with a goofy streak that keeps everyone smiling.

Personality & Home Life

• Playful & energetic: Danny and his brother Benjamin love chasing each other around the house and yard. His energy level is moderate to high, and he’s always ready for a game or an adventure.
• Respectful with dogs: He’s great with the resident dog and understands boundaries.
• Curious about cats: He’s showing interest in the resident cat — not fearful, just curious.
• Affectionate: Danny is a total sweetheart who thrives on companionship and connection.

Training & Skills

• Crate trained: Danny settles beautifully at night. A light sheet over the crate helps him and his brother sleep soundly until morning.
• House training: A work in progress but improving every day.
• Commands: He already knows sit, stay, and shake a paw.
• Leash training: Not started yet, but with his food motivation, he’ll pick it up quickly.
• Motivated by: Food, food, food. This boy will work for snacks.

Ideal Home

Danny is adaptable and would do well in almost any loving home. A home without a cat might be the best fit, depending on the cat’s comfort level. What he truly needs is a family who appreciates a funny, affectionate pup who loves to be part of the action. He would benefit from an obedience class to help him continue building confidence and good manners.
