Corky is a beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd who has been with our rescue the longest. She’s a special girl who needs an equally special home—one that is calm, patient, and committed to helping her work through her challenges.
Corky takes time to warm up to new people, but once you’ve earned her trust, she becomes a loyal and devoted companion who will never want to leave your side. She’s incredibly smart and food-motivated, which makes training easier and rewarding.
This girl is an escape artist, so a fenced yard isn’t enough to contain her adventurous spirit. She’ll need a home that can keep her safe and secure. Corky is not suited for homes with young children or cats, but she could do well with a male dog.
Corky needs lots of patience and understanding, but the love you’ll receive in return is worth every moment. If you’re ready to give Corky the chance she deserves, she’s ready to give you her heart.
