Jasper is a young retriever mix with a heart full of sweetness and a calm, gentle nature. He’ll be ready for adoption after his neuter on May 12th. Once you meet him, you’ll understand why everyone who spends time with him falls in love.
Jasper is the definition of a soft soul. He’s affectionate, people‑oriented, and happiest when he’s quietly hanging out with his humans. He’s wonderful with other dogs and with kids, making him an easy fit for many types of families.
He can be a little unsure around men at first and may nervous‑pee when being pet by males. This isn’t uncommon in young, sensitive dogs, and with patience, positive experiences, and gentle reassurance, he’s already showing signs of improvement.

Social and polite with other dogs

He is still working on crate training, so his future family should be ready to continue building his confidence and comfort with short, positive crate sessions.
