I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Mr Donuts

We're happy to tell you that Mr Donuts has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Mr. Donuts is a 3-year-old Golden Retriever mix weighing 65 lbs of pure enthusiasm and love.

This handsome guy is incredibly affectionate and absolutely adores attention. If you’re sitting down, don’t be surprised if he hops right into your lap — personal space isn’t quite in his vocabulary yet! Mr. Donuts loves being close to his people and is happiest when he’s getting attention.

That said, Mr. Donuts is a strong-willed and stubborn boy who will need a confident, experienced owner committed to continuing his training. He’s still working on his manners and can be pushy when he wants something, so he requires someone who is comfortable setting clear boundaries and consistently reinforcing them. He will thrive with an owner who understands structure, training, and follow-through — someone who won’t let him make the rules.

Because of his size, strength, and training needs, Mr. Donuts is looking for a home with older children and experienced dog owner who is ready to put the time and effort into helping him succeed.

He would do best as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the attention, though he may enjoy an active female canine companion who can match his energy with the right introduction.

Mr. Donuts is housetrained and crate trained. He sleeps quietly all night in his crate (though he’d happily sleep in bed with his foster if given the chance!). One of his sweetest habits is carrying his favourite stuffie around with him wherever he goes.

Mr. Donuts is loving, loyal, and eager to bond deeply with his people. With the right leadership, consistency, and continued training, he has the potential to become an incredibly devoted companion.

If you’re an experienced dog owner looking for a dog with personality and are ready to provide the structure he needs, Mr. Donuts may just be your perfect match.
