Patty is a 6-year-old Bichon Poodle mix with a gentle, sensitive nature and a quiet kind of sweetness. She’s timid and takes time to feel safe, so a calm home without rambunctious dogs would suit her best. She does wonderfully with easygoing dogs and cats.
Patty is fully house trained with no accidents. She’s crate trained and comfortable there, but also does perfectly fine left out. She enjoys her walks and gains confidence on leash, but won’t use the backyard alone and prefers to wait until she’s with her person.
It takes Patty a little while to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she stays close and forms a very loyal bond. She’s not overly affectionate just yet, but you can see her starting to open up more each day.
Patty recently had extensive dental work due to a poor diet in her past and is already feeling much better.
She’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. In return, she’ll offer a quiet, devoted love that’s truly special.
