I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Maple

We're happy to tell you that Maple has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Maple is an energetic yet gentle and timid dog with a sensitive soul. She takes her time in new situations. Maple appreciates a calm environment, patient people, and the chance to build confidence at her own pace. Once Maple feels safe, she blossoms into a loving, loyal companion who forms deep bonds with her humans.

Maple enjoys going for walks. New sounds when walking make her nervous, but she shows improvement during each walk.

Maple sleeps all night in her crate without any accidents. She is house trained and goes to the door to go outside when she needs to. Maple is doing well with her daytime crate training but will fuss for a short time when crated during the day.

Maple is working on basic commands such as sit, come, crate, and stay. She is eager to learn, food driven, and will thrive with routine and reassurance. To help Maple grow into her best, most confident self, her adopters should be willing to enroll her in an obedience class.

Maple will entertain herself with bones and toys. She loves to play with her humans just as much as she loves to snuggle and nap with humans.

Her playful side shines when she’s with other animals. Maple loves to wrestle and play tug‑of‑war with other dogs and is gentle when interacting with cats — a rare and charming combination.

Maple would thrive in a peaceful, nurturing home where she can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe and supported. If you’re looking for a energetic yet soft‑hearted companion who will reward your kindness with quiet devotion and sweet, steady affection, Maple may be the perfect match.

Maple's adoption fee is $850 which includes microchip, spay, vaccines, heartworm test, heartworm/flea/tick prevention, deworming, and complete vet check. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application at www.helpingpawsrescue.ca.
